Have Great Signs Announce The Grand Opening Of Your Restaurant

Are you planning to open your new restaurant soon, maybe even in time for the holidays? If so, you are probably very busy. Obviously, you are wanting to draw in customers, right? Here are some ideas that might help you get the word out about your business.

Different Types of Signs - When you consider the types of signs you want to order from the sign manufacturer, think of selecting a variety of styles that will draw attention in different ways. For example, think of ordering banners that you can hang on the inside of the restaurant. The banners might have different menu options as their focal point, say a special Christmas dessert that will be served only during the holidays. Will you be offering special lunch menus with lower-priced foods? If so, consider ordering a window sign that advertises those specials. Electronic signs that show your restaurant's name will be especially effective during the night hours. And, for changing items, say food specials that are offered on different days of the week, think of selecting signs that have panel replacements so that you can change the words each morning or the evening before the special is offered.

Grand Opening Signs - Even before your restaurant opens officially, consider ordering signs that will build interest in what is to come. For instance, one sign might state that Christmas is on its way, and so is your new restaurant. Words like, "Twenty Days Til Christmas and Only Fifteen Days Until Our Grand Opening" are a good way to draw in customersAnother idea is for the sign manufacturer to create a sign that says something like, "If You Think the Restaurant Is Gorgeous, Just Wait Until You Taste the Food!" You can also have countdown signs that say "Just Give More Days" and so on.

Think of using illustrations as part of your sign design, too. For example, if your restaurant menu is mostly Italian food, you might have a rendition of The Leaning Tower of Pisa as part of the design of the sign. If you're opening a restaurant where hamburgers and other comfort foods will be served, the design of the sign might have a picture of a big hamburger and a huge stack of French fries.

The sign manufacturer will more than likely have people on the staff that can also give you new ideas for signs that you will use after the restaurant has opened. There will probably be a portfolio in the place of business that may have signs that will inspire you to order similar ones, yet with a different twist, making the design your own.
